Wendy’s Old Fashioned Burger to the Humburglar Inside You

I cannot believe I’m writing a review of Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger Restaurant (WOFHR?). But it’s 4am, I’m awake (sort of), and I’m bored.

This was one of the last places I went before I stopped consuming carbohydrates. I had planned on having just a little breakfast at the Over Easy Cafe in between errands (as if this review couldn’t get anymore boring, I was on my way to Sears–which I also reviewed; holy shit, I’m boring), but they had been closed. I settled for Wendy’s instead and it type of worked out.

It wasn’t poor. My hamburger was actually pretty great and so were the fries. The cashier was friendly sufficient. The manager was running around like she was Gene Hackman in Crimson Tide. I dunno, maybe running a Wendy’s is very similar to being in charge of a nuclear submarine.

Oh, by the way, I saw Crimson Tide on a Spanish channel the other day. If my Spanish had been better, I would have totally watched it! Damn, that’s a great movie–one of Tony Scott’s only truly good films, that and Accurate Romance. Yeah, I am aware he directed Leading Gun, but I don’t really care for that film. It’s OK, I suppose. It is much less bad as The Fan. Oh, man, I actually paid to see that film. In a theater and every thing.

Anyway, again, because it was the last time I had potatoes and bread at the same time, the meal has obtained a sort of mythical high quality in my imagination–hence the four-star overview of a fast-food joint I visited months ago. I’m fairly sure a leprechaun, an naiad and George Wendt were riding a unicorn via the drive-thru window. My heart tells me there was, but my brain says no. However it wasn’t poor and I’ve learned over the years that a decent fast food joint in a big city is a major find.

Sugary Delights at Baskin Robbins

Prior to the fancy schmancy, gourmet, custom-mixed dairy desserts came into play, Baskin Robbins was the ultimate sweet treat when I was a kid. And if I was blessed with an ice cream CAKE from this heaven of heavens for a birthday celebration? Fuhgehtabouddit! Life was absolute perfection, just waiting for me within the freezer. Bliss, I tell you. Pure bliss.

I do not see Baskin Robbins locations in abundance the way I used to. Don’t get me wrong; I adore me my Ben and Jerry’s and non-chain dessert spots, but the BK just takes me back to great ole times when the biggest worry I had was dripping my Gold Medal Ribbon onto my new overalls. (The trick was to lick the bottom of the scoop(s) and to do it quickly!) Needless to say, I was delighted when I saw the pink neon shining proudly on its corner in Woodley Park! I can’t hate on my Baskin Robbins.

Sadly, in my non-adolescent metabolic state, I now have to turn to the lowfat Espresso ‘n Cream more often than not. Lucky for me, it does not taste like it is lowfat – if you haven’t tried it yet, it is much better than you’d think! Some thing tells me, nevertheless, that “lowfat” does not really mean I’m allowed to eat three scoops five nights a week.

Dress Barn Your Outfits for that Elegant Look

A friend of mine kindly passed on some of her clothes when she dropped a few sizes. I really liked the clothes and was surprised to find the Dress Barn label inside them. So, I went on my own one day and found a number of nicely turned out fashions that had been age suitable but still made me feel youngish and sexy ish. Ish, I said, ish!

The staff is extremely nice and useful and will start a room for you whilst you shop. They will go discover various size if you require it and bring it to you.

The dressing rooms are fairly clean and neat. Usually a plus whenever you need to get repeatedly naked.

This is a friendly store where the staff will greet every person as they enter the store. Whether you are there to browse or make a buy the quality of service is superb. Dress Barn makes every customer feel like probably the most important person when you interact with him.

Whenever I am searching for a new dress for a special occasion I like to shop at Dress Barn. They even give you a frequent shopper card. The woman working last time I was in there was awesome helping me find jeans that fit me correct.

Jean (the manager) has got a skill for putting it all together. I just tell her what I require and am always thrilled with the outcome. She would make an exceptional personal-shopper.

The employees at this store are great.

Mouth-watering Omaha Steaks Treats for the Food Aficionados

Omaha steaks will be the place for some fine meat and seafood. I generally go here every 2-3 months and tear up the sales. Now, I’m conscious that the sale costs are generally their normal prices (creative advertising) simply because you rarely see the regular costs in stores or online. My favorites are private reserve angus burgers, top sirloins, and marinated salmon.

All of the private reserve meat is slightly more than the normal meat. Is it worth it, yes. The marbling on the meat goes all the way through every piece. I produced a top sirloin and did not require a knife to cut my food. If that does not say some thing I don’t know what does. The marinated salmon is great especially within the summer.

It has a nice blend of spices that provides it an excellent aroma when cooking and an even much better taste. You are able to cook the salmon in the oven, stovetop or on your grill. Note: when cooking on the grill, wrap the salmon in foil so it will cook within the marinade. Omaha steaks has all kinds of sides, pasta, complete meals, roasts, beef ideas, desserts, etc.

I love the food from here. I by no means thought frozen food could ever taste fresh but it does! I do not believe that it’s expensive simply because you buy in bulk. Also there’s always some sort of unique going on. I just got a coupon in the mail the other day for 50% of of everything in the store. I think Omaha has quality meat and chicken for an excellent cost! It is a sin to compare it to meat at the grocery store. It is worth the drive everytime for me. I did take one star off only simply because the cardboard boxes do suck. It is hard to choose a product without really seeing it but as I said prior to I’ve never had a bad expertise so I’m willing to risk it!

Chocolate.com Special Goodies

Chocolate.com special chocolates are the very best. As a super sweet chocolate goes, it’s too sweet and not sweeter sufficient. At room temperature it’s fairly soft (for a dark chocolate, anyway), which suggests that it has much more cocoa butter than most regular chocolates. But, you give the market what it wants, right?

On the other hand, if you need a chocolate fix correct away and you are able to only go to the local quickie-mart, you could do a great deal worse than to get a bar of Hershey’s Unique Dark. It’s not especially smooth, it does not have the powerful chocolate kick that I search for in a great dark chocolate. It has a much more roasted flavor to it than some other people. The flavor is reminiscent of peanuts, and is comparable to the flavor of a Mr. Goodbar in that respect.

Luckily, the overwhelming flavour of the bar is cocoa. And they’re really fairly great and extremely moreish. In the event you were to force a small group of Peanut M&Ms to strip naked and run them over with a steam roller, you’d probably end up with something quite similar.

Anyway, Chocolate.com Special choco is truly great, but the fact that you are able to get it just about anywhere makes it something of a benchmark against which to test other types of chocolates.

My OfficeMax Experience

I can’t believe I’m giving this four stars.

Long ago, I worked here.. and I’ve to say, coming back three years later as a customer, it is so a lot much more fabulous! I walked in and there was a completely various feel- I was asked if I needed help by individuals on the floor (!!!), there was somebody actually waiting to check me out (!!!), and also the copy center (now known as ImPress or some thing) is redone and was full of about twice the number of individuals working as when I was there. I got the feeling that the copy center is super busy and very good at what it does now- it just had an aura of competence about it. (Not that we weren’t competent, but we had been understaffed.)

The parking has usually been awesome, but generally, the store is way cleaner, much more organized, and much better staffed than three years ago. So way to go guys! Now that I live a few blocks away, you will be my 1 quit shop for my bar exam study needs… I’ve already bought about 20 highlighters, a notebook, and endless pens… I adore the writing instrument aisle the very best. Officemax forever- Office Depot scares me.

And it’s not like they had been probably the most incredible employers… but all in all, as a customer, I was pleased. Remember this place is trying to provide you with inexpensive office supplies. It’s not trying to be fine dining.

Bath & Body Works Have Some Oh, Lovely scents

I’m a complete Bath & Body Works junkie. Their semi-annual sale is one of my biggest weaknesses and that i have way more lotions and the body sprays than I possibly could ever physically possibly use. I really like the classic Pleasures line, it’s the oldest and best line that Bath & Body Works has out.

Body Splash comes in a ton of different scents such as Cherry Blossom, Coconut Lime Verbena, Cotton Blossom, Country Apple, Cucumber Melon, Gardenia Lily, Juniper Breeze, Mango Mandarin, Moonlight Path, Night Blooming Jasmine, Pearberry, Peony, Plumeria, Rice Flower & Shea, Sheer Freesia, Sun Ripened Raspberry, Sweet Pea, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and White Tea & Ginger. If you’re lucky, during among the semi-annual sales you may run into one of the discontinued scents for example Honeysuckle and the most popular Violet. No scents are actually very overpowering, but I personally have discovered the Sun Ripened Raspberry to be a bit offensive. I really like Violet and never getting that scent in the body cream kills me. Most of the Pleasures scents tend to be more flowery than fruity, with the exception of an option few. I’ve the body splash in Violet, Cherry Blossom, Country Apple, Cucumber Melon, and Pearberry and that i love them all. This is a particularly good type of products for younger girls who are eager to wear some perfume, but you don’t want to provide them with perfume yet.

These items are really as cheap as dirt and can a really long time.

CheapOAir is Great and Reliable

I stumbled upon this website unintentionally while I was setting up our visit to San Diego recently. I’m truly thankful I did. This site has 4 “golden rules of travel” and one particular is that they “assure” the very best charges on plane tickets..hotels and such and they do provide that service. I found airfare with them less expensive compared to any other site and that i checked all of them! They are always providing CheapOAir coupons either by email or even on the site when you visit them.

It is incredibly easy to navigate the website and they’ve got the best connections I have seen. I first saw the name and went “Oh right…this is a site I would really trust!” but boy am I glad I followed through with checking them out. Our experience was much less with them than I could have gotten anywhere else. We stayed at the Hyatt Mission Bay (go through the Hyatt’s site as they always give the top deals for their own rooms) and we needed cheap airfare and they do live up to the name.

The customer service dept. is the BEST! They bend over backwards to try and make your vacation the very best it can be. They will help you in any fashion they are able to and they try to accomodate your every need. You may also ask for several reps if they have helped you in the past and you were pleased with them and they will ACTUALLY call you back!! Imagine that! I have booked through them more than once now and i have recommended them to several friends who travel regularly on a budget and they’ve been equally as pleased. Please at the very least look at the website and allow them a chance.

I know someone who actually told them they found an flight ticket less expensive and they said send us the proof of price and we’ll beat it! I don’t know about doing better than say Hotwire.com or Priceline.com you would have to talk with them it may just be on published prices like most sites but I found them to be cheaper than Hotwire on a car rental. Don’t see the name and think they are some fly by night. They are the real deal!

Had so much fun at Chuck E. Cheese’s

I took my kid to this Chuck E. Cheese’s yesterday and that we both loved it! My expectations were really low because I hadn’t had the experience in nearly 15 years (after i would be a child) and that I remember my mom always hating it because it was “ghetto, crowded and dirty”. I figured I’d have the same manner since I’m a mother (despite the fact that I loved it when I was a child!!!) but I felt the complete opposite. I believed it was extremely neat and it’s so big therefore it never felt crowded. We went on a Tuesday @ 11am (right when it opened) and stayed until 2:30pm. I’m guessing that it probably does get a much more crowded about the weekends/week nights. They’ve definitely made some alterations in the last 15 years and the just have to change that I was sad to see was that there was only a robotic Chuck E. (his robot band is not there anymore).

The pizza was delicious too (I probably ate half of a large on my own!)! I opted for a buddy and we had both subscribed to their E-club and then we had plenty of Chuck E. Cheese coupons for tokens and pizza and so I couldn’t decide whether the pizza is a great deal or not. Definitely sign up for the E-club and take advantage of the coupons. My only complaint about the menu would be that the salad bar (that is very small) is $7.99 a person. Ouch! I’d rather go to Sweet Tomatoes!

The rides/games all seemed to be functional and also the customer support was great too. We even got to meet Chuck E.! It had been a great day and we’ll definitely return!!!

Toys “R” Us makes me feel like a kid again..

I’ve been coming to this store since I was little and I’ve loved it to this day.

As for the service, my wife and I were very impressed. The video game department includes a good employee who was (1) not afraid to approach us and greet us (2) gave us valuable information about their DS games and (3) was very upbeat with our transaction.

Well, we surprisingly received good treatment at the Customer support Department. We shared a very good conversation with the rep, and she or he was very kind and incredibly quick to create a gift receipt for the purchase when we realized that we did not request one initially at the take a look at stand. Not just was she friendly, but she treated us like family and made us feel comfortable being at this store. On top of that, whenever we exchanged a game title, she matched the game price, and that we thus saved money by visiting this store. Love it!

I have been to a different Toys R Us in San Jose on Capitol and we also received similar top notch service when we returned a product, even when the item was opened.

I honestly still seem like a Toys R Us kid. This store definitely carries valuable shopping experiences. This store is highly recommended.
